Review – ‘Always a Wanderer2527 by Danica Winters

Blurb

Helena O2527Driscoll and Graham Kelly2527s first few months together haven2527t
been easy. Helena, missing the traditional Traveller lifestyle she gave
up for Graham, can2527t help but feel that their cultural differences have
doomed their relationship. And with preparations for their brand-new
hospital for Supernaturals filling their days, they feel out of sync,
and maybe even out of love.

When a man from the local equestrian
center is murdered, Helena begins having visions of the future darker
and more dangerous than ever before. With a killer in their midst,
everyone at Adare Manor is at risk, and Helena and Graham must work
together to catch the culprit even as their relationship unravels. And
when the murderer claims another victim, this one even closer to
Helena2527s heart, the question becomes not whether their love will
survive, but whether they will.

Review

In the second
book of the Irish Traveller series, Helena O2527Driscoll and Graham Kelly2527s
relationship is on the rocks. She2527s lived a nomadic life but, even among her
family of gypsies, she2527s different than everyone else. That2527s because she has
the gift of Forshaw (she can see the future) and it makes other people
uncomfortable around her. She and Graham met in the previous book and they fell
in love despite their cultural differences. Now, several months later, she2527s
settled down with Graham at his home of Adare Manor and they2527ve opened a
hospital for ‘supernatural2527 people. Things should be wonderful, but the tension
between them is threatening to tear them and their love apart. She misses her
traveling ways but when cruel, bigoted people who think anyone who2527s different
doesn2527t deserve to live threaten the hospital and their lives, their
relationship and their determination to survive is put to the test.
I really
enjoyed this book. Helena is a strong woman with an interesting background. She
knows what her heart wants, and it2527s torn between her love of Graham and her
love of freedom to go wherever she wishes. She2527s more powerful than she
realizes and she2527s trying to get a grip on what she can do. Graham loves her
but is trying to give her the space she needs to adjust to her lifestyle. He2527s
a wonderful, handsome, caring man and he totally made my heart flutter. The
chemistry between them sizzled.
I loved all
the information about gypsies and the traveling lifestyle, and I2527m happy that
it didn2527t overwhelm the story. The author really did her homework.
This is a
great book and I2527m happy I read it.
