to stop rogues from killing innocent earth witches. When he meets Ailish, he2527s
desperate to fight the bloodlust that2527s telling him to kill her. Cursed into
killing witches when they once protected them, the Wing Slayer Hunters need to
find their soul-mirror (the earth witch whose soul is connected to theirs) in
order to break the curse. Ailish is Phoenix2527s soul-mirror, but she2527s already
promised to another. Phoenix is also the mythical phoenix and finds in Ailish
more than just the other half of his soul.

I absolutely loved this book. It2527s fast-paced and kept my
attention. Phoenix and Ailish are wonderful characters (my fav couple in the
series), and you can2527t help but root for them. He2527s so sexy, sweet, and a total
badass with a funny side. The Chuck Norris jokes are hilarious. The ending is a
tearjerker, so make sure you grab a tissue.

The side characters are great as always. The story takes
place about five or six months after the first book, so it2527s nice to see how the
bonded couples are doing and how the non-bonded men are coping with the
bloodlust. We also get an update on Joe and Morgan, the mortals who befriended
the hunters in book one.

There were a few typos, for example: the crying kitten

The book is a great addition to series, and it furthers
the overall series arc about taking down the evil Quinn Young, the leader of
the rogues and the Wing Slayer Hunters main enemy.
