Review

Military police officer Lee Klein and German national Birgitte Schumacher meet by chance. She’s leaving a soccer game with her brother and their friends when they unexpectedly run into an American near a pub. Even though he’s only going to be in Germany for three years and she’s sworn off military men, they can’t help their attraction to one another, but can they make a relationship work when it has a deadline?
I really enjoyed this story. Lee and Birgitte started off pretty hot and heavy, then slowed down and got to know one another better. They had great chemistry and an obvious connection. Some of the best parts were when they discussed different meanings of various German and English phrases. I learned a lot.
Ms. Holiday’s Desire in Deutschland is a witty, steamy, quick read that hits all the sweet spots. I highly recommend it.
