Blurb
Widowed father Parker Townsend is stuck in a rut. After his two little hellions place a “Mom Wanted” ad in the local paper, he’s roped into a blind date. If that’s not bad enough, why did it have to be on Valentine’s Day—the most commercialized holiday of the year?
Claire Lauer answers the want ad to appease her daughter, not to connect with a handsome man drowning in emotional baggage. Hadn’t she learned anything from her ex-husband? But then an animal rights protest takes a turn, and she lands in her date’s bed.
With the past closing in, how will Parker and Claire seize their second chance at forever?
Here’s a short and sexy Excerpt for you…
He pulled her close and stroked his hand through her tousled hair. “I swear, Claire, you’re never gonna leave this bed. That was awesome.”
Her pride swelled. “Good to hear, but I plan to tie you to the headboard, so you can’t leave.” Claire snuggled on his chest, her lips inches away from his taut nipple. His heart beat strong under her ear. She smiled, inhaling his scent.
“I’m down with that. Scarves, belts, or ties… It’s your choice.”
“Hmm? I might take you up on that next time.” She giggled and tweaked his nipple, savoring his gasp and the strength burning under his skin.
“I love your flirty giggle. Do you know how sexy it is?”
Heat flushed her face. Claire nodded, embarrassed. “Has anyone ever told you you’re a great kisser?”
“A few women, maybe, but I’m only as good as the woman who kisses me back. And baby, you’re a damn fine kisser.”

Nice excerpt and sexy without going overboard
Hmm, scarves, belts or ties? Belts have that delicious leather smell, but ties are usually longer and have more strength than scarves. Not that I’d know or anything…
He owes this encounter to his kids? This is not a safe-for-kids excerpt! 😉
