In this prequel, book .5 in the Shifters in Vegas series, dragon shifter Karen is in Las Vegas to steal a prized diamond. Bear shifter Tanner works in security at a casino and misses his home and bear clan back in Idaho. Neither of them expected to find a mate in Vegas or with each other, especially since they’re different shifter species. But destiny has other plans.
I like the author’s writing style, and the H/h are fun characters. This story, however, is extremely short and not needed to understand Karen and Tanner’s main story, Gambling on Her Bear, which I would like to read.
